Bad day for freedom in Tennessee

It is a bad day for freedom in Tennessee. Special interests have succeeded in using the power of government to protect their businesses from free and open competition. Which means the consumer gets screwed. So what else is new?

Representative David Shepard has withdrawn his bill that would allow wine sales in grocery stores due to a lack of support in the legislature. I wish these politicians could understand that the less government interferes in the free market, the more society benefits.
