Letters to the editor
Tell your local newspaper editor that you support the sale of wine in retail food stores. Some points that you may wish to include:
- This is a consumer issue.
- Tennesseans want the convenience of shopping for wine in the same place they shop for food.
- Thirty-three states, including five of the eight that border Tennessee, allow the sale of wine in retail food stores.
- Why not Tennessee? Why not now?
Tips for writing a letter to the editor:
- Keep your letter 200 words or less.
- Always include your name, home address and daytime and evening phone numbers.
- Be polite.
